Stephen Prince named president, personal care

Tredegar Corporation has named Stephen Prince president, personal care of Tredegar’s PE Films division. He recently rejoined the company, having previously served in various roles from 1989 to 2010, including general manager, Healthcare and Hygiene and director of business development. Prince received his B.A. chemistry from St. Louis University and a MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
Bapi DasGupta has been promoted to president, Surface Protection of Tredegar’s PE Films division. He has been with Tredegar since 2007, most recently serving as vice president, Surface Protection for Tredegar Film Products. Dr. DasGupta has a Ph.D. and Master of Science in polymer science from the University of Akron in Ohio, an executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Bombay.
Jennifer Aspell has been promoted to president, engineered Polymer Solutions of Tredegar’s PE Films division. She has been with Tredegar since 2010 when she assumed the leadership role for Bright View Technologies, a manufacturer of highly-advanced, optical management products based in Durham, NC. Aspell received her B.S. in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Master of Science in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and MA in management from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.
José Bosco Silveira, Jr. has been promoted to president of Tredegar’s Flexible Packaging Films division. Silveira joined Tredegar in 2014 as vice president, Flexible Packaging for Tredegar Film Products. He is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Silveira received his BS in electrical engineering from Vale do Paraiba University, a MBM from Instituto Nacional de Pós Graduação and a MBA with a concentration in marketing from Getúlio Vargas Foundation. Additionally, he successfully completed the Advanced Management Program at Fundação Dom Cabral and Insead.
